Last Weekend Today

Hey Loves! I'm trying out a new segment called Last Weekend Today. I will be talking about what I did with my weekends. I realize most of my weekends will be spent at practice and home, but every once in a while I actually get out of the house and do things worth writing about. Enjoy today's 'Last Weekend' post!

I've known Collins forever and was soo excited for him. I missed the church portion of the wedding due to plans that fell through, but I was still able to make his reception. Sheeky looked absolutely stunning, from hair to make-up, to her gorgeous dress. They chose a beautiful hall, with beautiful decorations. I spent a lot of time staring at their cake (As you will come to know I love food!) My favourite part was just seeing how happy they were and I was glad I got to witness their love #SHEEKYANDCOLLINS2015. They Truly looked like the picture perfect couple. I can't wait for my wedding!..........someday. It was also great to see and talk to a lot of friends I hadn't seen in a long time at the reception.

Nelly's Dance Performance + Downtown Toronto

My plan for going home was basically to go to Collins and Sheeky's wedding and spend some time with my sisters and niece and nephew. I got a bonus when I realized that I would be able to attend my baby sister's dance performance. (The original plan was, of course, to be in Beijing for the world championships, but yeahhhh that didn't happen for me this year). Alas, my failures as an athlete provided me with the opportunity to see Channelle (Nelly) perform with her dance group 'Freedom Dance Academy'. The all girls group also got to dance after their number got to dance back-up for an artist Domanique Grant. I was soooo proud of her. My baby's all grown up! Nelly's performance was held at the Harbourfront Center in Downtown Toronto, so afterward we walked around a little and took in some of the many activities that were going on around the area.
